WARRANTY INFORMATION
All products are warranted to be free from any defects in material or workmanship. We offer a 3 Month limited warranty on products that are installed by a professional plumber. Under this warranty we will repair or replace any defected product. ModernDanish.com does not make any further warranties, expressed or implied. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper installation, alterations, improper repairs, improper use, and damage due to negligence or improper maintenance. None of our products are UPC code approved, please check with your local plumbing codes to determine if our products will work for your project.

Shipping
UPS and Fedex
*We ship some items with signature required for your protection as well as ours. We cannot remove the signature required but can re-route the package to an address where you will be able to provide the signature. This service has a fee of $10.00 payable at time of address change. This $10 fee is charged to our account by our shipping carrier and we are just passing this on.
* We do not ship to P.O. Boxes – we use UPS and FedEx and they cannot deliver there.
* All Items must be inspected at the time of delivery or within 10 days to ensure that we are able to file a claim should there be damage. We have very strict limitations by our shipping company in order to be paid for the claims. If the claim is filed beyond the time limit it will automatically be declined by our carrier.
We will handle the filing of the claim and have the product picked up from you. FedEx will generally pick up the item within 2 business days.
* Replacement of damaged products will be done once we confirm pick up from the shipping carrier.
* If the item is out of stock, a refund will be issued.
Freight
Very heavy items and large orders are sent using large delivery truck /18 wheelers. For most items we offer free shipping to your closest freight terminal or a commercial location with a loading dock.
If you will not be able to pick the freight item up nearby but choose to have it delivered to your home a liftgate is needed. All the Freight carriers we use charge extra for this service. Liftgate fee is $150 and that covers delivery to the curb. This service must be requested at time of purchase.
FREIGHT CLAIMS
The freight carrier is responsible for damages occurring during transit. It is essential that we get your help to inspect the freight item immediately upon delivery and please note on the bill of lading any damages prior to the carrier leaving the site.
All visible and concealed damages should be noted on the freight bill and signed by the freight driver. If you fail to inspect the item at the time of delivery and note it on the bill of lading you will assume the responsibility for filling any damage claims against the carrier. Please make sure the freight driver signs the bill of lading and note that the items was received damaged.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Exchanges & Defects
1-15 DAYS: Items are refundable (Via the method you paid) with a 20% restocking fee or Store Credit with a 20% restocking fee.
16-30 DAYS: Items are returnable with a 20% restocking fee and Store Credit Only.
31-45 DAYS: Items are returnable with a 30% restocking and Store Credit Only.
46-90 DAYS: Items are returnable with a 50% restocking fee as long as you have the ORIGINAL email confirmation of your order.
91 DAYS and OVER: Items ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
As always the customer is responsible for shipping the item back to us in the original packaging and in sellable condition. The item must have never been installed. If the item is returned to us damaged, the customer is required to file the claim with the carrier they choose to ship the item back. No store credit or refund will be given by Moderndanish.com. We strongly suggest that on the return shipment you purchase insurance with the carrier of your choice.
International Shipping Policy
Shipping is not free for International orders. Please contact us for a shipping quote.
All international shipping fees do not includes customs, duties or taxes.
Customs, duties or taxes must be paid by the customer to the shipping carrier for release of package.
Defective Merchandise: If the customer receives an item they feel is defective, the customer must ship the item back to us at their expense. If we determine the item to be defective, a replacement will be shipped back to the customer at the expense of Moderndanish.com. NO refund will be given, ONLY a replacement or exchange will be allowed.
Damaged Items: Moderndanish.com takes great care in packaging our products, but sometimes mishandling does occur on the part of the shipping company, so we suggest that you open every box no matter what the condition of the package is at delivery. If you receive an item damaged during shipping, you must notify Moderndanish.com via email or phone within 10 days of receipt. We are very limited by our shipping company in filing claims for the merchandise after 10 days. Failure to notify us with in the 10 days does not guarantee that a replacement will be given. NO refund for damaged items will be given. ONLY a replacement or exchange will be offered.
Natural stone may contain veins. These veins do NOT hinder the usability of the stone sinks. Each one is truely different and beautiful in its own way. If you are not happy with the sink you recieved please follow our return policy located above.
INSPECTION
All items are fully inspected to help avoid shipment of defective products.
Defects are handled on a case-by-case basis and procedures vary by manufacturer.
- The customer must send the defective product back at their expense.
- All items claimed as defective are inspected upon return receipt. If the item is found to be without defects, the item will be returned to the customer; a credit will not be provided. Customer pays for return shipping to receive their products back and may make this payment with a major credit card.
- ! Please do not attempt to return any item you feel is defective to ModernDanish.com without a Return Authorization Number from our Customer Service. We are not responsible for products sent back to us without an authorization. Please review the RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY of ModernDanish.com for additional information.
- Please contact us by email at service@ModernDanish.com to request a Return Authorization Number. Our hours of operation are on the Contact Us page of our site.
- ModernDanish.com will make every reasonable attempt to ensure your replacement item is shipped out as soon as possible, unless these items are out of stock. In the event that the replacement items are out of stock, reasonable alternatives will be suggested to remedy your situation on a case-by-case basis.
- If applicable ModernDanish.com will repair the defective item upon receipt and return the repaired product to the customer within 10 business days. ModernDanish.com will not reimburse the freight and insurance for items returned due to a manufacturer’s defect. The shipping cost of the item will be the customer’s responsibility.
OUTLET STORE DISCLAIMER.
The Modern Danish Outlet Store is where you might find products such as sinks, furniture, bathroom vanities, pedestals, lighting and other products we have as Overstock, Clearance products, Refurbished, Returns, Slightly Damaged, Products with Blemishes. All Sales are Final. The product photos shown in the Outlet Store are original stock photos of the products which do not show the product in its current state. To determine the condition of an item in clearance, carefully read the product description before purchasing. If a clearance item is damaged in shipping, the cost of the product minus shipping will be given back in the form of a store credit.
CANCELLATIONS.
If an order that was paid by a credit card has been cancelled prior to shipment, the payment will be fully refunded minus a $25.00 administrative fee. Administrative fees are non-reversible. Please note that we consider your product to be "shipped" when it has been picked from our stock and labeled for shipment with the freight carrier. After products are considered “shipped,” cancellations are treated as returns and subject to the restocking fee and non-refundable shipping charges.
- All Special Orders are Non Refundable and Non-cancelable after payment is received – no exceptions.
PAYMENTS.
ModernDanish.com accepts all major credit cards and Pay Pal. We also accept personal checks and money orders which are subject to bank approval; this may delay you shipping date by 7-10 business day or longer depending on the bank. E- checks from PayPal are considered checks and treated accordingly.

How to Apply Promotions to Your Order:

How Promotional Offers Are Calculated in Your Order
Promotional offers and coupons are calculated off of the item's list price and not the discounted price. The amount of discount shown in the promotions subtotal is the promotional discount minus any item discount.

- Shopping Cart contains 1 item, list price $100.00, selling price $75.00 (25% regular everyday savings)
- Enter a promotion code for 10% off a single item
- Value of the promotional discount is $7.50 (10% off selling price)
- Promotions breakdown shows $7.50 which is taken at the bottom off the entire order plus then any shipping, insurance or handling.
COUPONS AND PROMOTIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
