Shipping Process

Carriers
We currently are trusting our US domestic shipping to UPS and FedEx. The International shipping is handled by UPS, Fedex, sometimes USPS or Bongo. We rarely use a different carrier for our ground service but 99% of our business is UPS or FedEx shipped. International shipping for small light items is USPS, heavier items or items of higher value are FedEx or UPS. We are now using BONGO also for international customers that would like to receive many items from several suppliers and pay ONE shipping charge. BONGO will accept delivery and consolidate that process and we highly recommend that option if you are ordering several items from multiple suppliers as you will save shipping charges.

Email tracking
Tracking information is emailed to you and when a label is generated for your order the tracking information will be sent to you provided we have a valid email address for you. Check our spam folder for our automated messages on your order status..

Freight
Freight items and large orders are sent using freight delivery, large delivery trucks and 18 wheelers. Most large items have freight quoted and charges to bring items to your door or home. Contact us if you have any freight questions.

Shipping
We will ship all in-stock items usually within 24 hours after payment has been received unless otherwise stated. Special order or Pre Sale purchases will be placed on hold for merchandise to be received and re sent to you and you will be updated during that waiting process as we receive updates from our manufactures.

Fees
Shipping fees will be the displayed amount for all ship-to destinations shown. For the most part we offer free shipping on everything over the minimum order size. Purchases are eligible for local pickup from our main Atlanta warehouse facility if you prefer. Please contact customer service directly for this. We will ship to most worldwide destination with a few exclusions as long as you are willing to pay the cost for delivery and insurance. If you have a special request or need, email us for assistance.

Customs & Duties
Many countries impose their own customs, duties, tariffs, taxes, etc. on items being shipped from a foreign country. Duties and tariffs are not included. You will have to pay the shipping carrier or customs broker directly for any extra fees outside of our item cost.

Address Changes on Orders
We accept shipping address changes under these strict rules. Address changes are only approved when you have a confirmed return email from us stating clearly that we have indeed updated your ship to address. Simply requesting by any message form is not enough, we MUST respond with a confirmation to be approved. It is very important that you use the correct ship to address when you checkout, and we are not responsible for any changes you request after you checkout. Changes MUST be approved and in writing. If you change the address after an item is shipped, you will have to pay the $10 change fee that our carrier charges us to change the address.

Taxes
Georgia ship to addresses will be charged automatically 6% sales tax at checkout.

P.O. Boxes
ModernDanish.com does not ship to P.O. Boxes.

We have partnered with Bongo International Parcel and Mail Forwarding to service our international customers.

Bongo International provides its customers with their very own US address (not a P.O. Box). Once you have a US address, you will be able to make purchases with us as well as other US based online retailers. Bongo receives your purchases and logs them into their online system where you can consolidate them with other orders.

This process saves international customers up to 82% off typical international shipping rates.

• 2. Setup your Bongo International account by clicking the below image.
• 3. After signup, Bongo will provide you with your very own US address.
• 4. Back at our site, proceed to checkout.
• 5. Enter your new US address supplied by Bongo as both your BILLING and SHIPPING Address.
• 6. Use the credit card that you have on file with Bongo as the payment method... No Exceptions.
• 7. Choose your domestic shipping method, and Place Order.
• 8. Once completed, finish your verification process with Bongo.
• 9. Bongo will take over from here, so communicate directly with them for delivery of your order.
